- The
new legion hall opened during our senior year. The new building also
housed the post office and the G & G Beauty Spot.
- A
new addition was added to the fire hall this year, too. The addition added
more room for the trucks, bathrooms, a shower, and a meeting room.
- Girls
were allowed to wear slacks to school this year but no jeans. (I think
that guys could wear jeans, though!)
- The
windows of the Johnson Store blew in during the snirt storm. They had to
have a sale of damaged merchandise. After the sale the Johnson Store
became a Fairway Foods store.
