The new principal this year at H. H. S. is Mr. Lyle Brend. He was born April 22, year? in Grand Forks, ND. He attended college at Mayville. He is now teaching typing, bookkeeping, and business law.

Mr. Brend is six feet tall, eyes are blue, and his hair is blond. Our principal's favorite color is blue and his favorite food is barbequed spare ribs. His favorite singers are male, Bobby Goldsboro, and female, Helen Reddy. His favorite actor is John Wayne and actress is Shelly Winters.  Mr. Brend said that his favorite TV show is "M.A.S.H." but his favorite flick is "Don't Look In The Basement". PROFILE IN COURAGE is his favorite book. Of all the different kinds of cars, Mr. Brend's favorite is a Chevy. He enjoys watching football on TV, golf, bowling, and dressing casual.
